An Early Bird

Whispery vocals, alternative folk, heartfelt lyrics: this is, in short, An Early Bird. His songs are meant to build a connection with listeners by telling about real life experiences in an honest way.
Stefano De Stefano (this is the name behind the moniker) was born in Naples in the South of Italy. After cut his teeth in the local music circuit with his own band, he moved to Milan and started his solo project.
With 3 full length albums under the belt, coverage from media outlets like Rolling Stone, Billboard and MTV, airplay from HR1 Radio, FM4, Triple J and RTÉ 2FM, An Early Bird has been releasing new music every year since 2018.
He toured extensively across Europe, amassing a large number of live experiences from small clubs to big stages and opening for artists like Wallis Bird, David Keenan, Joshua Radin, Jake Bugg, S. Carey, Stu Larsen, Amistat, Grant-Lee Phillips, Christopher Paul Stelling, Sophia and Dan Owen.
The new album Are We Still In?, released on December 16th 2022, features a new batch of songs that delve deep into themes like hope and the ambition to find a place in the world.
