Looping creates a transcendental mood in which the audience can’t help but move and dig into our world of smooth basslines that team up with wild percussions and the voices in all kinds of colours. It’s what we call electronic handmade loopjazz since all the sounds are live and created in the moment, no cheating, no backing tracks…

Both of us, Anna-Lucia and Fama, are educated as Jazz vocalists and musicians. We’ve been playing together since 2017 and we are in that process of learning new skills every time we see each other.

Olicía ist ein deutsches Duo der Musikerinnen Anna-Lucia Rupp und Fama M’Boup.

LÓN
indie folk
Reykjavik / Island

During the 2020 lockdown three long-time friends and collaborators got together to make music. There was no plan or agenda. Just the idea of having a safe space to create. Something clicked in a cabin by lake Þingvallavatn.

One of Iceland’s most beloved artists, Valdimar Guðmundsson (better known as frontman of 6-piece rock and roll band Valdimar), explores his folk roots along with powerhouse performers Ásgeir Aðalsteinsson and Ómar Guðjónsson in new americana project LÓN.

Valdimar and Ásgeir’s previous project Valdimar has been one of Iceland´s most successful indie-bands for the past ten years. It has earned them two Icelandic Music Awards for Best Rock Song (2016) and Best Rock Album (2018).

Ómar has played with many of Iceland´s most prestigious artists as guitarist and bandleader. He is a member of instrumental jazz/rock band adhd, and front man of Icelandic/German duet ROFOROFO. Ómar received the Iceladic Music Awards for Best Jazz Album (2009 and 2010), Best Jazz Song (2019) and Best produced album (2018).
