The Clockmakers

The Clockmakers are a Rocksteady- and Soul-influenced band funded in 2013 by Melanie on vocals and trombone. Her musical compositions and lyrics are inspired by the 60s, a musical era that fascinates her. She is surrounded by a rhythm section full of energy, a trumpet and baritone saxophone tandem and a keyboard. Those 7 artists are united to create a sound both retro and modern with a tinge of Rock’n’roll.

The Clockmakers, c’est un groupe qui tourne depuis 2013, autour des compositions et des textes de Mélanie (tromboniste de Los Tres Puntos), au chant et au trombone.Passionnée par la musique des années 60, des influences Ska, Rocksteady, Soul… se reflètent dans ses chansons.Elle est entourée par une section rythmique pleine d’énergie, ainsi que par un binôme trompette-saxophone baryton, puis un clavier. Les sept musiciens s’unissent afin de créer un son à la fois rétro et moderne, le tout teinté de Rock’n Roll qui transpire !
