The Flamenco Project

The Flamenco Project is a German band founded in Stuttgart in 2017 by Jairo Quintana Jimenez and Olga Becker Matros. At countless concerts, events, national and international festivals, they have enchanted audiences creating special moments. Respecting the roots of their origins creating styles from Romances to Flamenco to Jazz masterfully combined. Characterized by passion, energetic rhythm and desperate theatricality. Jairo began his musical career at an early age and traveled all around the world. He retired from the stage to study art at the San Carlos Academy in Mexico City until 2007, then he returned with own style and new spirits, with new defined musical personality. He currently works with professional dancers from the Stuttgart Ballet School John Cranko. Olga is a graduate of the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts, is a first violinist, section leader in the Lower Bavarian Philharmonic Orchestra in Passau. One summer afternoon, Jairo and Olga met each other first time in the rehearsal room at Peña del Real Madrid in Stuttgart and began as if by magic to perform. Thus, these two great musicians come together to create "The Flamenco Project. Two distinct musical movements have merged into a unique fusion, blending flamenco with classical and celtic music. It's a musical romance between two cultures that will enchant your ears with an electrifying freshness bathed in starlight.
